Aiden Hurley grew up in the mountains of Durango Colorado and has  been writing and directing films since the age of twelve, when his  35mm/super8mm short film “18 Frames” won the audience award for best  family film at the 2018 Durango Independent Film Festival. Aiden has  immersed himself in writing, directing, acting and producing for screen  and stage ever since.

Aiden's newest short film “The Station” a western inspired by Dante  Alighieri's Purgatorio follows a teenage boy and an outlaw who find  themselves high in the mountains on an abandoned steam train and  discover that one of them does not belong there.

Shot entirely on 35mm film with anamorphic lenses, Aiden captures the  majesty and mystery of the big mountains using classic western  cinematography inspired by the films of John Ford and Sergio Leone but  with his own mystical story of one mans search for redemption in  purgatory.
